WillMar Center provides a safe, healing environment and compassionate support to children and teens grieving the death of a loved one. Support services extend to the family, caregivers, schools, the community, and the children living with a family member who has a life-changing illness or injury. Facilitates professional and meaningful support groups for children and their parents, grandparents, guardians, and care-givers. Conducts expressive arts programs to encourage healthy self-expression and to strengthen the bereaved child. Focuses on community education addressing the needs of grieving children through WillMar Center's Lending Library, school outreach programs, and presentations for adults in the community.
