Established in 1985, Toot Restaurants is one of the oldest full-service restaurants in Rutherford County. The restaurant introduced Buffalo wings to the Middle Tennessee area. Its menu includes a variety of appetizers, wings, sides, seafood, shrimp and desserts. It offers a children menu that includes grilled cheese, shrimp, chicken fingers, burgers and fries and a selection of frozen fruit drinks. The restaurant additionally offers a variety of platters, including Toot s Chick-On-A-Stick, Baby Back Ribs, French dip, catfish platter and smothered chopped steak platter. Apart from serving lunch and dinner, Toot Restaurants also supports various community organizations, such as the United Way of Rutherford County and the Habitat for Humanity. With a location in Smyrna, Tenn., the restaurant also conducts annual auctions and bowling competitions.
