Fast, Efficient, Great Service; Friendly Workers

I stopped in for an oil change, and mentioned that I saw a small oil spot in the carport. They put it up on the rack, showed me the area that leaked, and recommended a gasket for the oil pan. They ordered it, it was delivered, and I was on the road in about an hour. What I really liked was that they showed me the problem and didn't talk down to me. When I left, I knew what I paid for and why I needed it (and I knew I needed it, instead of just someone trying to sell me something). They let me know they appreciated my business. I'll go back.

DISHONESTY

The faciltiy represents dishonesty and does NOT honor their labor with a receipt, if you did not purchase parts from them. If you inquire about a receipt, the charge is an extra $8.00 for an invoice of the work that was performed. Sounds very suspect. They do NOT tell you this ahead of time, before services are performed. The facility was unaware of updated car parts. Do your research first. I will advise all potential customers to get in writing the services that you seek, because once a service is completed and possibly ( in my case) completed inaccurately, they will argue against your initial request. Very opposed to accepting the reproach.

At Smyrna-Vinings Complete Car Care we provide our customers with a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty (which ever comes first)on the parts and labor we supply to our customers. In this case, this customer supplied her own part which was the wrong part and not for the failure area. We "freely of charge" removed the part for this customer so that she may return it to the store where she bought it from. However, the customer wanted free service to put on the right part on, an invoice for the free service, and a warranty for her part. We have been in business for over 14 years,care for our customers, and understand unique situations. Therefore, we work with with them, but no business can survive by giving away free parts and labor without providing a fair cost of services to the customers.
