Long Island Flameproofing is certified by the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and fully insured to flameproof materials used for the artistic enhancement of public buildings. Primarily, we flame proof curtains and drapes in hotels, theaters, restaurants, nightclubs, trade shows, department stores and other buildings used for public assembly, entertainment or instruction. A majority of our business is conducted in Manhattan (NY). However, we service the entire Metro New York Area- Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey and Connecticut. Upon completion of the FDNY-approved fire retardant application, we issue a certified Flameproofing affidavit/certificate. This affidavit can be used to clear up Flameproofing violations issued by the Fire Department, the Building Department or the Health Department. Our services are available both on and off premises. Certified Flameproofing is a member of the Fire Safety Director's Association and the Hotel Association of New York City.
