this is a great church! came to visit once and i loved it. everyone was very welcoming and pastor rick was great!

My experience at Crossfire has been nothing but wonderful! Pastor Rick is a true shepherd and I have learned so much under his ministry. I can truly say Crossfire is one of the most loving churches I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I thank God every day for Pastor Rick and Sheila and for all the people at Crossfire.

I have been a member of Crossfire Church for over a year and have experienced just the opposite of what pdavidson2 has said. Because of problems in my previous church, I was very skeptical about any pastor when I started there. I loved the services, especially the messages, but I pretty much steered clear of the pastor. After being there a while, Pastor Rick began to draw me out of the shell I had wrapped myself in. He would come up to me and hug me or just take my hand and smile. I too had counsel with him, and while I didn't really LIKE what he had to say, I had to take it for the TRUTH that it was! Maybe on the day that this person was hysterical in the parking lot Pastor Rick felt that the person who was comforting them was just the person that God sent at that time and that he should not interfere with God's plan! We do not ALWAYS need the Senior Pastor to counsel with. I have found Pastor Rick, Sister Sheila and all of the members of Crossfire Church to be very warm and friendly. Please don't let one bad comment keep you from the love and warmth of the Crossfire Church family.

I want to start off my saying that my experience with this church was humiliatiing to say the least.,Pastor Rick is beyond a doubt one of the most unprofessional pastors I've EVER encountered,and would urge anyone who is in need of spiritual councel to please look elsewhere...Not only did he violate my right to privacy by contacting a pastor I had discussed with him,he showed absolutely no compassion.



My wife and I had split,and I was at the end of my rope,I mean I was going through horrible depression.I consoled with the Pastor after service to pease talk with me who sneered at me looking down at me from his pulput.,I just wish I had a photo of his expression,it would scare anyone and I froze.To make a long story short I was left in hysterics in the church parking lot at wits end being comforted by one of the laypastors.As pastor approached his car seeing the state I was in he made absolutely no effort to console me,and leaves me to wonder why he was dropped from White Dove as Assistant Pastor,guess that explains it.I also gave him a $100.00 offering during that service.



There are a lot of spirit filled churches in Slidell,I would avoid this by all costs..I am by no means perfect,and can assure you,there was absolutely no excuse for his unorthodox and I might ad rude behavior..
