In 1968, Roger Lunstra put together the first Tiger mower in Sioux Falls, S.D. The first welded prototype would lead to the establishment of Tiger Corporation. During Tiger's early years, it was just a small part of Sam Taylor's heavy equipment business. Tiger mowers were built in between repair jobs on other equipment. But word began to spread about an amazing mower that was doing 10 times the amount of mowing that sickle bar mowers of the day were doing. Tiger Corporation s product line has grown to include boom mowers, rotary mowers, flail mowers, Tiger Truckat, McConnel products and other miscellaneous products.
