My sister and I took our Yorkie to this place on a saturday and asked that she be "buzzed". When we picked her up, it was right at closing time, so we paid quickly and headed for home. In the car, we noticed that her ears were ragged, and then we started seeing chunks of hair sticking up. When we got home, and she could walk, we discovered that she was limping on her left front foot! We also discovered that the hair on her left front leg was much shorter than on her right front leg. She has a tuft of hair sticking up over her right eye.

I called them on monday (they are closed on sunday) and spoke to a young lady there, who told me that both the manager and the groomer who had worked on saturday weren't there. I left my name and number, and was told someone would call me. No one ever called me. I would have settled for a partial refund.

DO NOT take your pets there. Not if you love them! Bad haircuts, and they HURT OUR BABY!

Had to try because of schedule and will never go back. For around $50, they didn't trim nails, gave an uneven cut, clipper marks everywhere and dog was very happy to get out of there. Wrote on the receipt that she wouldn't stand up long enough so it took them too long to try to do everything. Never have had even 1 complaint from our regular groomer. I don't even want to think about why our usually happy little puppy was too scared to stand up for them.

BEWARE! Don't let this place fool you. I brought my pup in for a bath & trim because they were the only salon in town that had openings for days, every other place was booked. I spent time chatting with the front desk gal about how I wanted my pup's coat left shaggy, but bathed and trimmed up a bit for the summer. NO shave is what I stated numerous times and NO shave is what she repeated. I picked up my pup hours later and didn't recognize him, he was shaved completely! I was greeted by the same gal, only this time she seemed nervous. She told me the groomer needed to shave him because of mats. I asked why I was not called and I did not get a straight answer. She also added that my pup was "too skinny" and if I got him to fill out, he could be a cute dog. I was insulted, paid the bill and left. The next day I had the displeasure of trying to reason with the owner, Sarah. After knowing what my issues were, she continued to argue with me and blame the extreme haircut on "mats." I still never got an answer on why I was not contacted about this BEFORE he was shaved. She also would not answer me about simply refunding my money and she hung up on me, stating she didn't need to deal with it. They obviously DO NOT guarantee their work, like most of the groomers do in this area. RUN from this place unless a shave is all your animal needs.

I always know my english cockers are going to be safe and get treated with a anazing hair cut. every ine is so nice and love all of the pets. I am always so sure that everything is going to turn out great in that my dogs will continue to love this place. I also love the fact that the business shows and breed dogs, so I know that they always know what they're doing!

I've been going to Precious Pets for years, and I have always been more than satisfied with their service. I know they have been voted the local best for years, and I know they were the Argus-Leader small business of the year one year. No business is perfect, but I know the owners there really care about dogs and do the best they can on a consistent basis. I highly recommend Precious Pets to anyone who wants a professional job done by very competent, pleasant and personable people.

My wife brought our 22 pound Bichon/Cocker cross into have a haircut which took most of the day. When my wife returned to pick up our dog, PART OF HER EAR WAS MISSING!!! She was told that our dog moved a little while she was trimming her ears. So now our dog is deformed. If you'd like to have your dog mistreated, deformed, and/or maimed , This is the place to go.
