Do not rely on their warranty department fixing anything correct, or in a timely manner. We have been dealing w/ water coming in one of our windows when it rains for a year now and water coming in our front door for the past couple months. They claim to have great warranties with their homes....I haven't seen that yet. We purchased a new home in hopes to avoid things like this, or to at least have the peace of mind that if contracting/structural problems were to arise within the first year, that they would be taken care of; we were wrong. Their warranty department is a joke. After many emails/calls to Equity, all you will hear from them is, "someone will be getting ahold of you." To no surprise, no one will call to schedule a time to look at it. Water continues to come into our entry way when it rains out, and we now have water damage on our wood ledge by our bedroom window.
