I was very impressed with the work and the people that helped. Always greeted with a smile and willing to help you get your things done in a time that works for you.

Horrible experience. I brought an alteration into this place that was, granted, probably a little more difficult than most. And because it wasn't the most urgent of needs, I didn't give a set deadline for the work. BIG MISTAKE. Although they advised that they would call when it was finished, a month later, I thought I'd follow up. First, said the garment was finished. When I presented to pick it up, couldn't find it. Then called to say they found it, but wasn't finished, would call when it was. Two weeks later, still no call. I call back. It's not finished. Finally when it was two days later, I come back in to pick up, only one aspect of the work was done correctly (despite measuring and pinning, many of the parts still did not fit correctly). Loose threat &seams everywhere. Pins sewn into the seams and left there (scraped myself when trying it on). Even started some parts, but clearly didn't finish. Then, charged. Rather than deal with the hassle, I'll pay & find someone else to fix.

I am nothing but pleased when I use Professional Alterations. They have helped my daughter out with last minute prom dress alteration and they do an excellent job on anything I bring them. And you always get a smile. Will be a loyal customer for years to come!!!

Once again these people have let me down, so I will definitely not be going to them again. First, I had to badger them constantly to make sure they got a bridemaid dress altered for me in time for the wedding I was in. Thought I would give them a second chance, brought a pair of jeans in on Monday and said I needed them by Friday, they said no problem. I go to pick them up Friday afternoon and they are closed due to electrical problems and won't open again until Monday. I never received a phone call, nothing. They are very unprofessional and disorganized. My husband has always used their services but after these issues they have definitely lost our business. Do not go here if you are expecting things to be done in a timely, efficient manner.

This place is great! They have a pretty fast turn-around. They are always careful to get all the instructions and measurements exact and write it down. You actually get customer service here which is scarce in this day and age in Sioux City
