Par-Kan s history dates back to 1958, when S.L. Parker started a metal fabricating business known as Parker Industries. Established to serve the agricultural market, the company expanded the use of its welding technology and engineering skills to manufacture refuse containers. Par-Kan offers ground support, grease handling and refuse handling products. In 1996, Par-Kan added the Grain-Weigh division, which supplies weigh carts for the agriculture industry. Par-Kan is located in Silver Lake, Ind.
