My wife bought a $65 pair of booties from Little Black Dress (LBD) only to find out that they are the same shoes that Kmart sells for $39.99.

Needless to say, she was not thrilled that she paid boutique prices for Kmart shoes, and the owner of LBD didn't seem to think this was a big deal either. My wife was not able to return the shoes she purchased an hour earlier; instead, the owner took her name and number and said she would call her the following day to let her know what and if anything could be done.



My wife ended up calling the owner the following day and the owner said she would give her the difference in store credit. At this point, my wife had already decided not to do business with LBD again based on how the owner sent her away and made her wait around for a phone call. Instead of taking the credit, my wife chalked this up as a learning experience and is now walking around town in Kmart shoes she paid way too much for.



Next time, we will just go to Kmart for the latest fashion.
