My appointment was to have 3 teeth pulled and to get a partial. I am the biggest sissy when it comes to dentist visits (I guess I should have warned them when I made the appointment). Right from the moment I was called back, I started feeling my anxiety fade. The first tech who done my x-ray was so kind and understanding. My blood pressure was through the roof and she helped me calm down and was so reassuring. After a few minutes, I was in normal range. Dr. Martin came in done the exam and he could have easily just pulled the 3rd tooth and took that money but he was honest and told me to keep that tooth and switch toothpastes. Then he explained what to expect.
When I came back in the afternoon to have the extractions and partial placement, my anxiety was even worse, blood pressure was higher, tears, shaking, you name it. The tech that saw me this time was just as nice as the first one. The tech from the morning visit stuck her head in for more reassurance. Dr. Martin came in and numbed me up and explained things again once my blood pressure came down. He was reassuring and spoke kindly to me but not in a patronizing way. I appreciated that part the most of all! During the extraction process, he spoke to me and reassured me and told me I was doing great. In no time at all he was finished and placing the partial in. He had me bite down a few times, then adjusted them, and repeated it until I was happy with the way it felt in my mouth. I’m a new denture wearer and he was sure that I was comfortable with them before I left and let me know that I was welcome to call or come back with any kind of question or concern I had. I would recommend him to anyone looking for this type of dental work! Very nice staff and very nice dentist! I will definitely be back for any other dental work...and that’s a big statement coming from a big ol’ sissy like me! ...Oh! And the partial denture looks and feels natural! I was really surprised at how comfortable it is!

The redhead in the front is not a nice person. BTW I made this account jus to say this. So ppl u don't have to be nice to her on purpose cus she's a jackass! They should really fire her! Everyone else is nice. I rated low because of her.

Be patient, it takes time to get use to dentures.The staff at affordable dentures is kind.They are busy,but do listen and do their best to assist with any problem you have.Take time to read the information they give you.Once again,it takes time to get use to dentures.
