I've used Noyes for years for auto/home an have always had a great experience. for me they've been easy to talk to and when I did have a disputer with the insurance company over a home claim they helped me get the additional money to finish the repairs.

Bad, Bad, Bad

I can't say bad enough. We went with them when we bought our home. The set up was, of course, easy. We went through a broker because we were looking for someone to help us, not someone who would simply and repeatedly tell us 'Call the insurance company'. The only way we got any resolution was to contact the better business bureau.



First we had a claim on our home owners insurance. We spent nearly 3 months trying to straighten out the money we received from the insurance company. Checks were given and taken back, then re-estimated



Then we had a car accident. I got rear ended on route 2 and found 'not at fault'. So the other person insurance was paying for things. Noyes took their side rather then ours when it came to getting the car fully repaired and getting us reimbursed for car rentals. All calls took 24 hours to be returned or they'd call right back and say 'Call the policy company'.



Then when we moved and maintained the home insurance through them (you would have thought I learned my lesson) and they let our policy lapse because the home was vacant. They called at renewal time we noted we had moved and we needed a vacant home policy. They never called us back, they never set anything up. The policy lapsed and we got a nasty call from the mortgage company. When I called to find out what happened they said 'Oh, we thought you didn’t want coverage any more'.



All in all a fiasco. I strongly recommend you avoid them. I only gave them one star because you can't give zero
