Steve installed hard wood floors in our living room last week. We wanted the floors stained to match the dining room which had been installed when the house was built in the mid 1980s. He did a great job. He is truly a perfectionist, was always on time and hardly made any dust which was truly amazing! His price was very reasonable as well. Having known Steve Shaffer for many years, there was no question as to who would be installing the wood flooring in our kitchen and dining area. We were looking to give our 15 year old home a facelift of sorts. In addition to removing a wall partition, we decided to remove the old, ugly vinyl flooring and reviewed hardwood flooring with Steve (Shaffer Wood Flooring). To make a long story short, Steve not only finished our floors in 2 days, but really helped to transform our house from stale - to one that was bright and fresh. We contacted Mr. Shaffer about installing wood flooring in our home. He came to our home to discuss the options we would have. He had a lot of knowledge about installing the flooring we wanted. The floors came out great and we really love them. Steve was very professional in everything he did. He was always there when he said he would be, and the competed job was excellent.
