I highly recommend you consider working with Dr. Malamed if your pet is experiencing any type of behavior related issue. As a boarded Veterinary Behaviorist, she can provide support way beyond that of a trainer. Before meeting her, I had no idea what a vet behaviorist did or what to expect when I went for my appointment. Prior to the appointment, I completed a detailed questionnaire about my dog. Turns out this gave Dr. Malamed & I a huge jump start on working together for the benefit of my dog. She provided an expert evaluation of my dog, presented several options (all required a big time commitment on my part) & followed up with tons of support throughout the process via email and phone calls. O now understand that behavior problems take time. Slowly but surely my dog is improving. We could NOT have done this without her. I plan on continuing to work with her for as long as it takes to help my dog get over his behavioral issues. BAF in Sherman Oaks, CA
