I have had several appointments cancelled because she is never in the office. The last time they told me they would call me back to fit me in since she cancelled the last two appointments......that has been a month ago and I've only began seeing her for six months.

Diagnosed with an extremely aggressive case of rheumatoid arthritis in June 2014. Just when I felt nothing could get worse I booked an appt with Dr cockrill. First off she was rude and dismissive of my situation. She tried to have me taper off prednisone too quickly. I had been on 8 mg daily for 2 months while waiting for an appt. I had been on a tapering dose from 40 mg for 6 months. Tonya cut it in half over night. Every piece of information online says to taper slowly especially in the last 10 mg. I had no choice so i followed her direction. After the moat painful and horrible night ive ever had I amlost ended up in the hospital. I was in horrible pain for a week prior. Im surprised that as a Dr of Internal Medicine she had no advise on any of my medical situations. When she was confronted on her approach she told me to find another rheumatologist. I waited 2 months for this visit. How disappointing. I wouldn't recommend my enemy to go see this dr. Not to mention her staff was rude, inconsiderate and overall horrible. There was zero compassion for my horrible situation. I begged to just please help me. They told me there was nothing they could do. Thanks for nothing.
