Provided by SuperpagesI have a 2000 Camaro SS 5.7 litter that blew the transmision after 114000 miles on it. I took the car to Jim's Circle Transmissions to get it rebuild. I figure since it was already broken I will spend a bit of money on a shift kit as well. Jim transmissions told me I could put a shift kit on it if I want it to so I spent an additional 380.00 dollars on the shift kit. All in all approx 2,1000.00 USD. To my surprise and to their surprise the transmission blew out after 3 weeks on my way to work. They are arguing that I must have shift it from 80 MPH to second gear or something. Well I was on my way to work doing approx 55 mph on drive when I came up to the ramp of off route 9 to route 7. The car when into overdrive and kept missing the next gear. I would not recommend this place to anyone that owns a sports car. The worst part was that when I broke down I went to make sure that it had fluid in the trans only to wipe the oil stick and find out that the napkin stood white instead of red.
