pnutbutter… Recently a team member brought your review to my attention, and, regretfully, this is the first time I have been given the opportunity to respond to your concerns. Typically, the staff and management at The Soulliere Group™ excel at providing superior customer service. We pride ourselves in giving our customers our fullest attention from initial contact to project completion, and beyond. Our varying stones, granite, marble, limestone and quartz are of the finest quality and at a great value due to the buying power of The Soulliere Group's (4) companies and our commitment to customer service. The date of your post is all that I have as a reference to when the 'glitch' in our customer service process occurred. I have spent some time researching our customer records (whether customer purchased or not) to find out where we may have missed a step in our customer service to you. I believe I have uncovered the issue and am taking strong measures to make sure this doesn't happen again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. YES, I agree your time is extremely valuable and I understand the challenges to pick out the perfect type of stone in our 10,000 sq ft showroom from our vast product line and hundreds of stone colors to choose from. I've spoken with the sales team that you mentioned and realize that there was a miscommunication; for that I apologize. The Soulliere Group™ mission statement is based on superior customer service, high quality products, competitive pricing, and expert workmanship. Because we own a stone yard we are able to purchase our products in large quantities to offer you the best value in Michigan, and, as mentioned earlier, our showroom inventory is quite large. With that said, it seems that your situation was more a matter of our onsite templater determining that the quantity of granite required for your countertop was greater that the measurements given in your showroom estimate, which necessitated the price increase. We have taken action to resolve a problem like this in the future by instructing our sales team to emphasize to the customer that the final measurement is determined by the actual onsite template. Again, I apologize for any miscommunication that occurred and hope you will re-consider us for future projects.
