Motor City Auto Transport, Inc is a Michigan-based corporation that began as a small business in 1999 that operated under another carrier. In early September of 2002 James D. Ferns IV, Founder of Motor City, decided to take his 20 years experience in the transportation industry out on his own to become a full time business. We currently have a fleet of thirty trucks and are experiencing continued growth. Our sole function is the transportation of automobiles throughout all 48 states and Canada. Motor City specializes in the movement of vehicles from auction to auction, auction to dealer, and manufacturers to dealers. Motor City goes to extensive lengths to ensure the safety for your automobile. We provide prompt, personal service and flexible delivery schedules to benefit the customer. Motor City provides competitive rates and the fastest possible delivery. Insurance is provided at no additional cost on all trucking moves. Motor City Auto Transport uses only state of the art equipment consisting of Freightliner and Peterbilt Tractors and Cottrell or Delevan Trailers no older than 2 years. All of our drivers have many years of experience in car hauling and are licensed and qualified per government regulations.
