Went to Uncle Ray's to find a truck to replace one on my passenger car. Notice I said to find a truck to replace. I left the car (so they could match the trucks) with detail instruction with the salesperson and again said just order me the part and I will install and do all the rest.
Well that did not happen I was charged a bench fee $45.00 to INSTALL the truck and a couple of screws which I had at home with me. I contacted Ray about this issue and he said my written note was not detailed enough. I put my name/address/phone and truck needed. The salesperson said good just leave on a stack of other boxes and he will have Ray order me a truck.
I will take some responsibility just for believing that customer service is most important and thinking that an employee will do as they said they will do. Detail instructions were not written and oral instructions were apparently not adequate.
Time to find another hobby shop (so few) Internet here I come.
