The utilities are very reasonable except for water from the Town of Shallotte. The MINIMUM is now $96.00 for two months and it just keeps going up and up....

Guest60464 is right! I have read reviews on other sites by other tenants and they span several years. The pool is a lie! it's never open! The equipment is in need of upgrade in the weight room, desperately! The landscaping is a mess, etc., not to mention the poison ivy. The rules are not the same for everyone ...TRUE!. The apartments are very efficient...The manager is, the maintenance BOY is a fumbling flaming imbecile.

The pool has not been in service for several years although they promise it every year. The equipment is in need of upgrade in the weight room. The landscaping is a mess and they never blow off the sidewalks and porches. The rules are not the same for everyone which is discrimination when one can have one thing on their porch and another is penalized for it. The apartments are very efficient but sadly the amenities are in need of improvement and have been for a long time.

Nice place, friendly staff, good facilities - pool, work-out room.

This is a very affordable and convenient place to live. It is difficult to find affordable living in this coastal area, but Birch Pond has provided me with a nice place to live that doesn't break the bank. It is well kept up and has nice amenities for an apartment complex it's size.
