WATCH OUT for this company and it's delivery drivers! We just had a run-in with a driver today who was sitting in his truck doing NOTHING at all; fuel had already been pumped and delivered, and hoses completely retracted into the truck. Yet he just sat there twiddling around and left the yard gate swung WIDE OPEN. These people have been told before NOT to leave the gate open because of multiple dogs that live here. With NO sign of hoses, and the gate being just a bit around the corner, we let one of the dogs out. The runner who always goes straight for the gate, and runs across busy streets if this dog gets loose. When I asked the driver WHAT could he be thinking, he didn't apologize, he was belligerent and said, "I wasn't done". Upon further questioning, he WAS done, as stated above, and was just diddling around his billing or appointments or such while leaving the gate WIDE OPEN, and blocking our alley. He said, "I didn't see any dogs when i got here", and he even went so far as to say he was going to phone police about ME? When i asked him why didn't he just apologize when i first asked him, he repeated that he wasn't finished yet, which was completely ludicrous at that point. i was just STEAMIN' and told him to leave our neighborhood; that he was doing nothing more than blocking the alley. He refused to leave, and even had to nerve to phone somebody at his office. i suppose to be the first to make mention of the situation. Probably after I mentioned I'd be phoning his boss with the distinct possibility of discontinuing the service. I asked if this was how they generally do business? (By the way, they have completely driven away in the past with the gate completely open). This is abysmal behavior, and you might very seriously want to steer clear of this company at all costs!
