The owner? chastised me for not allowing HER to get my earrings off the shelf and then she demanded to hold them for me until I was ready to check out. There is some selection but most is overpriced & made in a mainstream factory somewhere. The condescending & pretentious a-hole behind the counter was a total B and made me feel like a thief the entire visit. They lost my business and I will make it my life’s mission to tell everyone I know how bad she sucks.

Got there at 4:45 and was met at the door by a woman who said they closed at 5, (and there were several others in the store) to look for turquoise jewelry and deerskin moccasins (for which I have several pairs and pieces) and while I was starting to look at the jewelry a woman turned the light off in the case I was looking at. VERY INHOSPITABLE AND RUDE. I turned around and walked out NEVER TO RETURN. I guess they are too good for my money. Too bad, so sad.

Lots of interesting and unusual souvenirs. Many items made by Native Americans.

GREAT GIFT STORE. HUGE SELECTION. MOCCASINS WERE NICE. GREAT SELECTION OF JEWERLY. HAD FIREWORKS, BUT SELECTION WAS LESS THAN OTHER STORES.

My wife and I stopped in to look at jewelry and moccasins in her store, we had been there before and was treated very kindly, THIS TIME MY WIFE WAS FOLLOWED AROUND BY THE STORE OWNER WHO, WHEN WE WERE LEAVING TOLD US NEVER TO COME BACK IN! WHY? WE ASK, SHE WOULD NOT TELL US AND TOLD US WE WERE NO LONGER WELCOME. We ask that she tell us why again she would not say. Needless to say we were shocked and very embarrassed as it was in front of many people. This woman followed my wife around, saying just loud enough for my wife to hear " I hate thieves" my wife was looking and thought she was talking to someone else. The woman kept following my wife and repeating it several times so that just about everyone in the store could hear. We repeatedly asked what we did as she implied that we were stealing from the store. We ask several times for her to call the police she said she was going to. It is a crime to accuse anyone of an criminal offense. Needless to say when she threatened us with physical harm by saying there is a man in here and you had better go before she calls him. OK that having been said I would strongly advise anyone who even considers going in the Cherokee Trading Post to beware because if it's snowing outside and you’re wearing a coat you will be accused of stealing.
