I've owned animals all my life (cats, dogs, horses, chickens, pet snakes.) I've taken them to vets in each place I lived in, and SAH ranks among the best. From the very well-informed, caring and competent front desk folks to the excellent veterinarians, they do everything they can to make pets feel safe and help them get well. I've been there when emergency cases showed up and they work together as a team to efficiently fix what's broken. And as other reviewers have mentioned, their prices are reasonable.

Word cannot express the truly horrible care this clinic gives to its patients. Our dog was in for IV treatment for being dehydrated and they literally almost killed him. They called us and said our dog was not responding to the treatments and wanted to put him to sleep. My husband said "no" and went to pick up our dog and our poor dog and green crap all caked in his eyes, was wet and reeked of urine and feces. They had our dog so drugged up that he couldn't hold his head up, couldn't stand up, couldn't walk, etc. They left his urinary catheter in and everything. We had to take him to another local vet to have the urinary catheter removed – the new vet said our dog’s bladder could have ruptured from the catheter being left in! Sequim Animal Hospital really wanted our dog to die! Several months later, and under a new vet’s care, our dog is doing great. It kills me to think just a few months ago Sequim Animal Hospital wanted to put his to sleep. I have never heard of a vet clinic neglecting animals like this!! I strongly encourage anyone who currently goes to Sequim Animal hospital to please take your pet somewhere else. And to those considering taking your pet here, please don’t! Veterinarians are supposed to help our pets, not neglect them!
