VERY nice facility and atmosphere! Very much like a small luxury hotel. Has an outdoor flower garden, and one resident actually has a vegetable garden! Nice sitting/visiting areas and activity room. A variety of activities are available, both organized, or spontaneous. There is a small lending-library, tables for cards/puzzles or dominoes, a computer with internet access, a screened in porch overlooking a lawn and a pond (fenced off, of course) with a fountain, and a playground for a daycare a little distance away. Residents may use their own furniture in their rooms, creating a very warm, individualized home-like atmosphere. Great food is served in beautiful dining areas, and the facility is meticulously clean. There is a beauty shop on site. They also have an Alzheimer's/dementia specialty care wing that is outstanding. The staff here genuinely cares for their residents!
