I'm not sure how there can be any bad reviews for this company. That was definitely not my experience. I found young's paving at http://www.myoungpaving.com/ called them up and within a few days they came to my house and gave me a free estimate on my driveway. They did a great job, its been over a year now since they've done the job and it looks good as new!! I would definitely recommend!

This company sucks. The owner and his crew are unprofessional. a week after my driveway was installed it was falling apart. I have waited 11 months for them to come back to fix it. They still have not come and I know have to bring them to court to get it fixed. other paving companies have seen the work and they have told me what a poor job they did. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

It seems as if there are those days where the stars seem to line up and this was one of those days. Something you should also know is I'm one of the more fussy people you ever meet and when I say I'm not afraid to let someone know I'm not happy with something, take that to the bank.

Tuesday, Sam Stanley representing Young's Paving, stopped by to inquire whether or not I was interested in having my driveway paved. Now I have to say I'm always cautious about surprise offers however since he was very polite and posed the question, we came to an agreement and on Wednesday, 07-Aug-2013, a formidable crew from Young's Paving was at my home bright and early as promised.

What started off as a 170 X 18 foot driveway actually ended up being approximately 600 feet long due to 3 other neighbors getting on-board with my strategy and having Young's paving grade and surface the entire road.

Over the course of 2 full days I learned a lot about Young's Paving.

Young's Paving is a family, generational, business and has been in constant business close to 30 years. When you think about the ups and downs of the economy over that time, 30 years is even more impressive.

Mark Young is the owner of the business and while he probably could have sat in his air conditioned truck and watch his crew of 8 experienced workers, he was running the paving machine himself right in the middle of all that hot asphalt and smoke.

Mark's son Jack was also there spreading hot asphalt and working right along side the more senior members of the team learning this difficult business.

I was also fortunate enough to chat with all of the workers. The least senior member of Mark's crew has been with them for 17 years and the longest I believe over 25 years. Having an experienced crew is very important as they can make or break a business through mistakes or poor quality workmanship.....these guys are outstanding.

Was the job absolutely perfect? I thought it turned out pretty damn good but a couple of Marks crew weren't very pleased with a section that met the garage so they spent an additional 2 hours resurfacing and pitching this 30 X 25 foot section until they were pleased with their results and water runoff was no longer an issue.

This project took 2 full days to complete and impressed does not describe the quality of the work, the skill and professionalism of Young's crew, and the overall friendliness of Mark Young and Sam Stanley of Modern Paving.

If you want a fantastic paving performed by a group of journeyman that really know their stuff than give Young's Paving a call.....You'll be glad you did!

Had a new driveway installed i...

Had a new driveway installed in May. Concerned the driveway was too soft. Tire imprints were showing. Called w, the office of Young Paving and was told to wait until after the summer and to call back. The driveway always had a pebbly(not sure if thats a word) appearance and everytime it rains, parts of the driveway are washing away. get the same response when friends see the driveway...they all want to know whats wrong with the driveway. I called the office again last week since the warm weather has passed, left a message with my concerns and just wanted someone from the office to come look at the driveway....that was over a week ago and am still waiting for a call back. Bottom line....be careful if you choose Youngs paving...they do not seem to want to stand by their product.

Garbage!

I had Young's do my driveway. At first glance it looked good. After a tiny rainstorm, I noticed some sinking near my garage where the driveway runs against it. The hole became larger and two other holes formed. They didn't put any fill underneath the driveway. Now, I was calm about it and called them several times before I received a callback. When they did call me back they said they would take care of it at no cost. Then, randomly someonw from their company showed up at my house and told me they wereny going to cover it, and that it would cost $800. I have made several calls sincethento have them repair it at a lower amount and they have ignored me!!!!!
