Beware this company is the worst! I had the owner of the company come and provide my company with a quote to epoxy our floors when I was given the quote I was told it would be a 2 day process and they would do it after hours. I provided them with a check they requested as a deposit and closed my business early on one of the busiest days of the week to provide Madstone enough time to come in and prepare the floors for the epoxy treatment at the time they requested, well when the time came for Madstone to start there process they were a no show and did not even call to say they were running late, after several calls and messages we were finally informed they were running late, (2 hours later). When they finally showed up I provided them with a contact person to close & lock up my business when they were finished for the day. When they were finished that evening they contacted our person to come and lock up and informed our person they would need him to re-open our business early in the A.M to complete the job in which he did meet them in the A.M. and informed Madstone that he will be available if they needed anything and that another employee is in the building for any questions they may have. Half way through the day I received a phone call from the employee who was at the location and he stated that Madstone had left an hour & 1/2 ago and still hadn't returned, he assumed they were going to lunch but had become concerned because all of there equipment was gone and the spots they applied epoxy to had been bubbled up and was not complete. So at this point I made several calls to the owner who was on the job site and left several messages, this went on for about 2 hours. After I left several heated messages I received a call from the owner stating that there was something wrong with our floors and his product wouldn't work? Ummm really it's just a cement floor. At this point after much frustration one of my questions was why didn't anyone inform my employee (who was at the location) what was going on and the answer was they didn't know anyone was in the building, so my next question was, why didn't anyone call the contact person or one of the several #'s Madstone was provided with so someone could at least come and lock up my business? the answer they gave me was simply them hanging up on me!!! After 2 weeks of phone calls and emails Madstone finally responded to my request to return my deposit and explain what there resolution would be to get my floor epoxied like promised, well the only way it would get resolved it a long process at not double the cost but ripple the cost! At this point I had enough with looking at a floor that looked worse than when I asked Madstone to come in from the beginning, long story short my floor is still not epoxy coated and in worse shape than the beginning. This company is a joke when it comes to knowing there business, communication with there customers and reliability it will cost you more than them tripling the original quote they give you. Look else where there are so many better companies.
