I had a very satisfactory and agreeable experience with Mario & Mario. They installed a paver stone double-wide driveway and attached sidewalk. Additionally, they installed a run-off drain, some flagstones for the sidewalk extension and removed some trees. It was completed on time while working around our schedule with out-of-town visitors. The crew that did our work was competent and we enjoyed their work time here at our residence.

Oh jeez, where do I start? I hired Mario to make improvements to my yard. It took him almost a whole year to "complete" the job. Some weeks, he wouldn't even come even though the weather was perfect. I have asked him to come back repeatedly to redo things that he did incorrectly or didn't even do, but he keeps saying, yes, I'll be there this week, and then he never comes, that's if he even answers my calls or calls me back... since I last gave him money and asked him to fix the sprinkler, he hasn't ever called me back. There is still so many little things that his workers did poorly. I have leaking sprinkler heads. The paint on my house isn't done right, I can still see primer coming through places on the walls! I find nails and staples all over my deck and yard. Where they dug up the soil and rocks around the base of my house to paint, they left it dug up, and there's rocks all over my pathways and around my house. I find their workers cigarette butts in my yard (I have pets, this is dangerous!) You know what's worse though... the money thing. He made a lot of money off of me and of course he always wanted more or he kept changing the price of our arrangement. That just made me so disappointed. I had many more things I wanted to have done to my yard, but I'll definitely never use him again. It's apparent that his workers lack the skills necessary to complete an easy enough job (other than driveways, he did that pretty well) and they definitely lack respect... they obviously didn't care about the details, let alone my home... Apparently, neither does Mario. I hesitated about writing this... but I think it's important now that you know and that he knows how I truly feel about this. We could have had a long standing relationship, but not anymore.
