Do you enjoy prison? I hope you enjoy prison, because that's how this place runs. If you don't have any money coming in forget coming in... but if you do, forget ever getting out. My father is there. 2 weeks ago, he was able to speak to me. They don't allow anyone to have a phone, you must go to the desk and they must dial the number back for you. He told me he was being mistreated and that they were listening in on the conversations. After that, they wouldn't allow him to talk. That was his punishment. I called 18 times on fathers day but they said he wasn't there. My father is blind, where could he have gone. Then they told me 2 days ago that he never wanted to speak to me again, but when i asked them to ask him a secret question only he would know, they brought him to the desk.

I called the director, I'm assuming, and she was worse than all of the rude staff! She straight up told me, "do you think I'm allowing $1300 to walk out the door?" I wanted his next disability check to be given to him, and him to get a plane to me, but they are refusing. She told me first I wasn't on his emergency contact list, that my uncle was, and all i needed was for him to add me. When he called, he got cursed out and hung up on. So my dad went and asked, but they told him he had no right to add or change anyone.

This place is a trap.

The last thing they said, if you take him out of here, we'll never release his medication. The medication he needs to survive.

Like I said: PRISON

If you enjoy prison, you'll love it here. For Rent, They will charge you whatever you have. They let you have about $50 if you pay over $1000. You are NOT allowed to have a phone in your room, and so you must take calls at the desk where they monitor them. If they don't like the person calling, they won't tell you. Your mail? They go through and read it. They take the money and personals. The best part, they take your medication! They WILL NOT let you leave. After about a year, your check goes straight into their account, and they do a power of attorney on you without you even knowing. When a family member tries to get you out, they are threatened with prison and more. The residents come into your room and steal. The only good thing, pot is legal, but you have to smoke off of the property. Walk off that property and NEVER look back!! Stayed May 2015, traveled with family
