Kau Kau barbeque lied to me at ruined my wedding meal. I called a month in advance to secure my order for a whole roasted pig. It cost $285 and was supposed to be 45-55 lbs with another 15 lbs. of pork stuffed in it to freed my 120 guests for a grand total of $400. I called the day of to make sure everything was ok and to pay the remainder of the costs. when i got the pig delivered it was only about 25lbs and no extra pork like i ordered. it looked meager and was very disappointing. When i called them the next day to find out what happened they were very rude and accommodating and told me that they had no way of contacting me (lie) and didn't know how much pork to add so they didn't add any, and that they could have fixed the order if i talked to them before the order went out even though i called them a total of 3 times before including the day it went out and they never said anything then. Now that makes sense, order says extra meat so lets not put any in it because we don't know how

!!! The Worst China Town has to offer !!!

The Worst of Seattle!!!! The BBQ is good but the service is horrible. The fried rice was burnt on several occasions. The lunch specials are reasonably priced but if you order to go they will not give you the soup that comes with the meal and you do not get much BBQ pork. Every time I go back the portions get smaller and smaller. On my last visit I decided to order the lunch special with extra BBQ pork. I went with my coworker who is Chinese. She over heard the old guy who cuts up the BBQ with a cleaver say in Chinese to the counter person that they should have charged me more. When I got back to work and opened my container I was not happy. There was no extra meat and my coworker barely had any BBQ pork in her lunch at all. How Rude! They charge you extra for everythingI thought hot mustard and sweet/sour sauce were free? What are you supposed to dip your prawns and BBQ pork in? That did it for me I will never go back there again. I work too hard for my money to go and pay someone to treat me rudely and serve me burnt food!

MY RATING FOR KAU KAU'S........NO STARS

Kau Kau's has good BBQ Pork but they treat their customers very poorly. Every time I eat there the food and the service get worse and worse. The fried rice was burnt several times. The lunch specials are reasonably priced but you get such tiny portions that I paid to get extra meat. The old guy who is always cutting up the BBQ said something in Chinese which my my coworker who is also chinese understood. He said that they should have charged us more for the extra meat......Is he kidding me? I paid extra and got the regular amount. My co-worker on the other hand really got shorted. That was the last straw. I will never go back there again!Would I recommend this restaurant to you......NO!MY RATING FOR THIS RESTAURANT IS........NO STARS!!!!!
