The driver of First Student bus #111454 sped across Rainier Ave S west up McClellan St in the curb lane which was running out next to me this morning at 7:45, forcing its way in front of me. By 'forcing,' the bus would have clearly pushed me into oncoming traffic had I not almost stopped to let it in front of me. Really, is getting one more car length ahead worth endangering passengers and other drivers?

Let me begin by saying that I have never encountered a road rage driver before or been involved in an altercation of this manner. The driver of the bus above honked and stopped inches from my rear bumper. When traffic began moving, she moved into the left lane and tried to pass me by pushing into my lane when there was only a few feet between my stopped car and the Gray Line bus in front of me. When I honked, she opened the bus door and began screaming explicatives at me. In her opinion, I pulled out in front of her. She obviously felt that this aggressive and offensive behavior was an appropriate response since her bus did not have children on it -- yet. My girlfriend and I are very concerned that this driver appeared to be picking up a group of children from a basketball game that had just ended.
