We hired Sand castle for a landscaping project. They were unable to start the job because they were backed up for 3 weeks. My husband signed a contract and gave him a check for half the job. In that waiting period my husband lost his job. So with that going on we could not afford to do the job. Called and spoke to the owner, as soon as possible. The owner replied he was unavailable to talk and would return the call. One week went by no return call. Left many messages on a answering machine. Finally after a week received a text from the owner saying stop calling me and my lawyer would contact you. With all good intentions of doing the job we did not plan on being unemployed. Any professional person would have refunded our check but apparently he wants to keep it for doing nothing. Beware of this company.
