Dr. Randall Peairs joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 1992 and practices in our Scranton office. Dr. Peairs received his bachelor's degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and was awarded his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a three-year residency in ophthalmology at Hahnemann, and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Peairs is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Lackawanna County Medical Society. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, PA.
