Phoenixwine started as a retail wine broker in Phoenix. As a broker, we did not carry inventory, but pre-sold and delivered cases of wines at great prices. An opportunity to do a retail store in the Scottsdale & Shea vicinity presented itself, which would allow me to offer great prices by the bottle, as well as case lots. Now, we feature wines from around the world, all presented at warehouse club pricing. We now offer a fine selection of wines as well as great pricing. Wine has been both my hobby and my business for over thirty years, and I bring an excellent palate and extensive industry experience to the table. We specialize in getting the wine that you want at the right price. My palate is vineyard, or terroir, based. I want to taste what is going on in the vineyards, not what is going on in the winery. I'm a believer that a awful lot of winemakers are way too heavy handed with their techniques, leading to wines that lose their origins and taste manufactured. Wine is simply grapejuice going bad, but it sure makes a wonderful partner with food!
