I am an avid knitter from Wisconsin who always visits yarn shops and buys yarn on my travels. I have avoided Jessica Knits in the past because of some negative reviews. However, I decided that today I would give the store a chance. I was in the store for about a half an hour, planning to buy yarn for several projects. However, not one of the three workers had time to help me, although they didn't seem very busy. They have very nice yarn, but the rudeness was appalling and not common for yarn shops. What a disappointment!

Jessica's Knits been bought out by a new group in 2011, I believe. I noticed a change immediately when I returned after a less than satisfactory visit under the old management. They were all pleasant (I met three people) and helpful. One time I went in with my project to get help, and even though they were busy teaching and selling, someone still took the time to help me...and were very pleasant while doing it. It's becoming one of my favorite places.
