In 1979, the store was opened as Direct Carpet Outlet. Three years later Rick Pendergrass was hired and began working at the store. Fast forward one decade, Rick and his wife Debbi purchased Direct Carpet Outlet. In 1994, the decision was made to join the Carpet One Floor & Home Cooperative. This gave us the buying power of over 1,400 stores worldwide which lets us bring you the best products at a lower cost. The vision for the store was to be known as the premier flooring source for services and selection in Arizona; doing whatever it takes to create a customer for life. Up until 2016, Rick, Debbi and their son Josh operated the business as a team.
