I've had a few jobs in my 21 years.

Dollar General by far has been the absolute worst company I have ever worked for.

The register system is beyond outdated. Every return or item that needs deleted, you need a manager. But, you don't get a manager by using a walkie talkie or an overhead system, you must yell across the store like an idiotl in order to get someone to help you (which is ridiculous and you basically yell in the customers faces).

As for the crappy ones, they act like it's a HUGE inconvenience for them to help you whenever you need them.

My former boss actually yelled in a woman's face because she didn't want to price adjust something that came up wrong and threw the woman's money that she owed her onto the counter. I was dumbfounded. I should have said something but I was so in shock that I didn't.

They schedule horribly and don't care if you have any life problems whatsoever. It's disgusting.
