closed on Friday after thanksgiving what kind of bank is this and what about service every other bank in town is open a joke stay away from this want to be bank

They say their business hours are from 8-5 but ive gone there multiple times around 4:30 and they are already closed. The first time it happened I called them the next day to confront them about closing early, they said they had a company wide meeting that they had from 4-5. Now this wouldn't be that big of a deal except for this is the second time it's happened to me this week alone, which is very irritating. How does a business advertise certain hours of operation but not hold those hours? Now I have this personal check that I can't get cashed anywhere which means my family goes without dinner tonight all because this bank can't hold their own hours of operation.

It's the last home owned bank in the area.
