I would like to start out by s...

I would like to start out by saying that with so much competition in this area, the GREETER would at least smile and say hello how are you? But as my newly wed husband and myself, just getting into town in our jeans and extremely casual attire was obviously not GOOD ENOUGH for the GREETER who wore an outlandish outfit (she looked as if she belonged in a strip club to be honest).

Not only were we stared up and down as our attire obviously wasn't up to" par" (at 4 p.m., not even evening yet) we were sat in the bar and not even asked if we would like a comfortable booth in the restuarant area, instead she sat us away from everyone else in the bar with VERY HARD SEATS, A tall bar stool after a 5 hour drive into savanah. That was the last type of seating we were hoping for.

The only person who treated us with ANY respect was our wonderful server who was an average heigth and build and was a black male, kind and extremely professional server.

Now I am not sure if the dress was the only issue as when locals came in they were treated with the utmost. As my newlywed husband and myself leave and present towards the elevator, we were not only stared up and down by the 5 worker bee's standing at the greeters/hosting station, but were also ignored and no words of "have a good day" or "thanks for joining us" were even said.

Now with all of that said, I am a physician in Florida, highly respected one and I will tell you that I would have each and every one of them fired for presenting my place of business in the manner in which they did. I feel that the owner should be aware of how his "place of business" is presented to the community as well as the vacationers.

In a tourists area it should be expected to have patrons dress in an extremely casual manner. I will NEVER visit this restuarant again and for the pricec, my meatloaf was terrible!! Was so spicy it tore a layer of skin off of the roof of my mouth. McDonalds would treat you better as a patron!

Wedding Reception

Basically the service, food and room were terrible. This is based on my comparison with other restaurants throughout the United States. Who has heard of asking the members and guests of a wedding party to select one item from the hors d'oeuvre platter?
