Pamela Gaudry, MD, NCMP, FACOG, or Dr. Pam as she’s known to her patients, started the Georgia Center for Menopausal Medicine in Savannah, Georgia, to help women get through menopause safely, sanely, and well-educated. At her unique menopausal center, Dr. Pam offers hour-long appointments in a spa-like, calm, and comfortable setting for women to address all the issues they might face before, during, and after menopause. Dr. Pam focuses on all menopausal issues from hot flashes to vaginal dryness to the effect these have on marriage. To help women better understand that menopause is a perfectly natural progression of life that can be effectively managed and controlled, Dr. Pam wrote the book “Love, Sweat, and Tears,” which has also been made into a feature-length film. This documentary and comedy, which features the comedic genius of Joan Rivers and Lynne Koplitz, provides an education for women and men of all ages in a non-threatening, fun, and informative fashion. This movie can be accessed on Netflix or purchased directly via her movie website. Dr. Pam is available to speak for your women's group, conference, convention, or special event. Dr. Pam is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner and completed training in medical sex therapy. She offers intimacy counseling as a crucial and integral part of her menopausal practice. Dr. Pam's goal is to help women strengthen, improve, and/or regain their intimate relationship through menopause and after breast or gynecologic cancer, life-changing events, or other medical issues. Dr. Pam has always been an active member of the Georgia OB/GYN Society having been on its executive board for over 10 years and serving as its President in 2007. She was president of the Georgia Medical Society in 2008 representing over 600 physicians in the Savannah area. Dr. Pam was on the executive board of the Medical Association of Georgia as first and second vice-president in 2008 and 2009. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists after achieving and maintaining board certification in 1995. Dr. Pam was in the inaugural class of the Georgia Physician Leadership Academy, and has lobbied in Washington, D.C. and at the Georgia State Legislature, to fight for issues important to women's medical well-being. Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Pam started her OB/GYN journey at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, graduating summa cum laude. From there, she went to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where she remained and completed her residency.
