We arrived to be given a room that wasn’t cleaned yet the door was propped open and dirty linens thrown on the bed and chair, so I went back to the front desk where she clarified the error, she had just written the wrong number on the key holder. So I went back upstairs to get my husband who was sitting in the hallway with all of our stuff to go into our room. At this point I wasn’t upset at all, but after showering I laid on the bed. It smelt like body odor. I then pulled the blankets down to find dirt and hair all through the sheets. I was beyond disgusted, I just put my head down on a dirty bed. I went back downstairs where the front desk woman apologized and gave us a new room and said management would contact us. I checked back twice that night I never got to talk to a manager all I was told is the room should have not been marked clean it wasn’t cleaned yet it was a mistake. I don’t believe this at all because there were clean folded towels, all of the soaps were full, 2 cups, 2 makeup remover wipes and the bed was neatly made. This was absolutely a lazy employee that did not do their job. My best friend works for Hilton and I know that this is grounds for termination. I don’t want to see anyone loose their job, but what if we got lice, or got sick from something the people before us had. I’m still very upset about this and will be posting this on every review site.
