The invoice I received when I returned the car was correct --- it matched my reservation. The amount charged to my credit card was $10 per day higher (plus taxes and fees). I was emailed a new invoice with the higher rate. No reason. They just increased the daily charge and billed my credit card. FRAUD.
I call the 800#. The rep could not make an adjustmetn because they said the Savannah location had sent the account "to collection". And they had already charged my credit card. Once sent to collection, they cannot adjust the bill. So they ripped me off. Scammed. Fraud. Stay away.
Too bad because the people we dealt with on site were very nice.

Horrible experience- overcharged by $200 and given a smaller, lower class of vehicle at the desk due to their lack of availability. This is our second bad experience with this location.
Manager Lawrence Quiogue will not call me back. We have a business account, but will not be using National/Alamo anymore.

As an Emerald Isle member, when I arrive I expected to be offered a choice of vehicles and not directed to take a specific car. I insisted on a choice but still was not allowed to take one of the larger vehicles parked in the Emerald Isle spots which I needed due to an extended family vacation plan. I tried to address this complaint with the attendant but the attempt to discuss was ignored. Not at all happy with that situation. No point in being Emerald if you can't get the benefits when you need them.

The personnel in Savannah were very friendly. The car was new and a pleasure to drive. Two problems. There were old french fries on the floor of the car. Second, after driving 60 miles, I discovered I only had less than 1/8th tank of gas. Fortunately, I only had 15 miles to go to my destination. I assumed National would send the car out with a full tank of gas. I put $29.00 of gas in the car after driving 75 miles. I rented late on a Sunday night. This could have been a disaster!

Service was fast .. They need a place for people to leave there cars when they rent. We have to pay to leave our cars when we already renting and should have a place to leave our personal vehicle

After Hertz hurt us by 3 episodes of incredibly bad service: 1 - rented us a car with defective tires that went flat and then expected us to pay for new tire 2. rented a car that had the check engine light come on 3. rented us the smallest vehicle I had ever seen, with manual roll down windows; we went with National and have been delighted by the quality of the cars and the speed of service.

I get to Savannah every six months. These people at National are great. Very friendly and very helpful.

National Rental Car @ Savannah Airport hires some of the nicest people! I've been flying in and out of Savannah for years, and their service and hospitality is always stellar!
