These people were hired to do the plumbing for two bathrooms in a new addition to our house. The two-man crew did an abysmal job. There isn't enough space to list all of the mistakes made. They flooded the job site twice, and that's just for starters. Since that time, I've had to call American Plumbing to fix 3 other problems. Each time, the crew they sent commented on the poor quality of work done (they didn't seem to know it was their company). The latest repair required the ceiling to be cut away. That was three weeks ago. Still no phone call regarding fixing the ceiling. Never ever use this company. I understand that mistakes happen, but I shouldn't have to spend months repeatedly calling to beg them to fix their mistakes. They are disgraceful.

I called and made an appointment for someone to come and fix a problem I've been waiting to have fixed for 2 months now. I was told someone would come out on the day I requested (my hours make it difficult to have someone come out at their convenience) and that I would get a phone call to say when they were on their way. I did not get a call and no one showed up. This is the 3rd plumber who has not turned up after I have requested an appointment. I am very disappointed as a new resident in Savannah. I cannot find anyone who can suggest a great plumber or even a plumber that will show up. A phone call to say there was a delay would have been acceptable, but I guess that is too much to expect. I will continue my search for a plumber and will not call this company again.

I've used these people multiple times and have always been pleasantly surprised by how reasonable they are in terms of price. I just searched for their number to call them again and saw they have one review and it's bad so I had to add my input. I have used them for a major leak in a water main at my condo building, in which they had to jack hammer up some of Broughton Street sidewalk and re-concrete the sidewalk after the work-- the charge was lower than expected on that major one. Other times I have called them for a couple of small things, and besides the fair price the best reason to use them is definitely their after hours availability although then you do pay extra.

Will NEVER use again! I called American Plumbing to address a plumbing situation at my house. They said they would be able to come by to take a look at it later in the day. The plumber came by and was told the situation (which I had previously stated over the phone). He then stated that he could not help, and I would need to call someone else. I had explained the situation over the phone, he could not have said that earlier before I wasted half the day waiting on him?? He was present less than 5 minutes and didn't even remove a tool from the truck. A few days later I received a bill in the mail for $98. NO WORK was performed! At NO time before, during or after the visit was a service charge mentioned! I understand being paid for your time, but this is ridiculous! To add insult to injury, LESS than a week from receiving the first bill in the mail I received another bill in the mail reminding me to pay for the service that was not preformed!!! Do yourself a favor and find someone else!

This business renovated 4 condominums for me and was nice, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. They have followed up on their work without complaint. I would recommend them to anyone.
