Let me tell you folks, some of the reviews I read about this place had me on guard when I came here the first time. I really don't want to discount anyone else's experience, but I can tell you that my personal experience has been nothing BUT phenomenal from the get go. My experience with Dr. K has been nothing but brief and pleasant. He's stuck me with needles, and with follow up physical therapy, my hip has improved quite quickly and feels better than I have felt it in a good 10+ years! My neck is in the process of being worked on, as well, and I cannot express my gratitude more for the staff. The bonus... ladies... let me tell you that you are missing out at a young stud here in physical therapy. Isaiah has been the heart of the operation for me, to be very honest. Everyone is fabulous, don't get me wrong! Sheri (sorry if I misspelled it!) at the front desk is awesome, Dr. K and his entire staff are so easy to get along with, it feels like family there... but Isaiah has topped the cake. He is quite the charmer with a great sense of humor. He is very professional, fun and VERY easy to look at *wink wink*. If you haven't seen him yet and you're in need of physical therapy, you are missing out!! Thank you everyone for your incredible care of me. You have all been a blessing!
Sincerely,
Kelli

I took my daughter to IPPMC for physical therapy and for a sports related injury. IPPMC was professional and the facility is absolutely beautiful. They offer every aspect needed for injury...state of the art gym, therapeutic pool, hot tub, MRI lab, and the staff from Dr. Kowalkowski to the staff who welcomes you to IPPMC was great! We have been to many other clinics in town who claim to offer pain management or physical therapy only to find out they only offer injections or give your child a piece of paper and a large rubber band and tell them to go home and do these exercises. That's not physical therapy. I would highly recommend IPPMC and would say go there for yourself to experience it, that way you don't rely on reviews from people you never met. You'll leave feeling great about experiencing it for yourself.

Don't waste your time

I went there for over a year and within a year they did at least 20 injections in my back none in which lasted longer than a day. They also did for MRIs. So if you have a good insurance they will be more than happy to put 20 injections and you and rack up the insurance bill.

I have had back pain for over five years. I had a T11 compression fracture that was thought to be congenital, as well as a spinal syrinx. I had enough pain that I underwent a T10-11 posterior fusion. After my surgery I underwent 8 weeks of physical therapy, 3 times a week. I still had no relief. Previous to my surgery, I underwent five years of therapy and multiple doctor visits. After one visit at IPPMC with Dr. Kowalkowski I have never had so much pain relief. The staff is so helpful, understanding, and truly cares.

My husband has had back pain for over the last 10 years to the point that he was so miserable. He was unable to get from the house to the car. He was using a walker occasionally. It also affected his mood. We were seen at IPPMC and comprehensive program was created, in which he was treated by the behavioral health specialist who helped us with medication that changed our mood. Dr. Kowalkowski created a rehabilitation plan, in which after a few visits, he has had about 80% relief. It has been a miracle for him.

Because of previous left sided cerebral infarct, this testimonial is being assisted by his wife and Leroy. Leroy has been in significant pain in the right side of his head, since undergoing a mole removal, for almost a year. His wife states he did not want to do anything. he was depressed and stayed in bed. After being treated at IPPMC it appears that he is a lot better now and he is able to go for his walks and he is able to drive without pain.

The team at Interventional Pain and Physical Medicine Clinic are very professional and well-coordinated. At the same time, they are very helpful and take good care of their patients. They go above and beyond to ensure the treatment of patients is going well. I used to work in bakery manufacturing company and due to severe labor work my body started having all the pain problems especially my back problem. I was pain patient for a decade and was unable to perform a lot of daily works. My life was miserable. Then, I met Dr. K through my physician referral. I have been treated here since then. I am glad that Dr. K has helped me lower my pain. I feel that my pain has been reducing day by day. My life changed completely again. Now, I can perform most of the daily works. Twice a week, I use their gym membership and the highly qualified Physical Therapists help me on that. I read some negative reviews about Dr. K and his clinic. Being a pain doctor is very difficult and demanding. People look for instant results and it is very tempting for Dr. K to make all of his chronic pain patients happy. He has all the credentials that makes him a great doctor. I was a patient there and I was treated with a lot of respect and care. I did not notice any rude behavior. I don’t think that a doctor would behave badly only with certain patients and behave well with rest of the remaining. Overall, Dr. K has been life changing person for what he has done for me. I would highly recommend all the pain patients to visit his clinic and feel the change.

Run from this place

I have chronic back pain and my PCP was prescribing me two 5/500 hydrocodone per day for two months. After that she told me she didn't believe in covering pain with pills. She me it sound like I was a horrible person. So I go to this place in sartell, 1st Pain clinic ever. The nurse was nice, but then comes in this PA Dan.. The guy was a jerk, he acted like a cop and played 20 questions, none of which were helpful to me. After being completely honest with him he told me he would be back with the Doctor for the scheduled appointment. Eventually just "dan" comes back in the room and says the doctor wasn't needed. He told me to go back to my PCP because technically she never turned me down on my refill request (of 60 vicodin 5/500 a month). The PA basically was vindictive? Or really took pleasure in my not getting what I wanted. So, anyway.. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!! Waste of money, time, your life, ect.. And if you see Dan, tell him to go F*ck himself

patient

I read some bad reviews for Dr. K and it made me nervous to go to him again. I have to tell you my experince was great!! I think Dr. K and his clinic is GREAT!!! I have problems with a foot defomity and everyone want just to give me injections in my back. Well that helps because I walk funny, but it does nothing for my real problem area. I go to Dr. K and he helps with my foot along with every other area thats off because of my foot. I am greatful I found this place. As far as his attitude he's a real person, you will not hear anything fakey come out of his mouth. He is great. Also I do not work for the clinic I am a PATIENT!!!!
