The Sarasota County Technical Institute, part of the School Board of Sarasota County, offers more than 45 training programs in various fields. It offers educational classes in agribusiness, automotive and marine technologies, computer and networking technologies, health science and legal programs. The institute also offers programs in the areas of business technology, public service, driver improvement, construction technology, adult general education and employee training. It offers a variety of student services, such as bookstore, financial assistance, guidance and counseling, cafeteria, media center and placement services. The Sarasota County Technical Institute has been operational for more than 35 years and is located in Sarasota, Fla.
