Amazing staff!! Be sure to check Dr Downing!!

We have been taking our pets to Sarasota Animal Hospital for the last few years. The level of care my pets receive there is phenomenal! Every staff member there truly proved their worth this summer past summer. While on vacation in New Hampshire, a friend was taking care of our two dogs, Tyler and Molly. Tyler became severely ill and could not stand on his own. Staff waited for our friend to bring Tyler in and immediately began testing. It wasn't long when the Vet personally called us to tell us that there were too many masses on his heart and lungs and there wasn't anything that could be done. We had to make the difficult choice of having them put Tyler to sleep while we were miles away. The emotional and professional support the whole team provided to us during that time was great. Knowing that Tyler was well cared for and comfortable was priceless. Everyone wants the best for their pets during the good times, but you need the best during the worst. They're the best.

I have been bringing my sweet heart to Sarasota Animal Hospital for a few years now and I am 100% satisfied! The staff is very knowledgable, patient, and kind. I know that they are treating my cat as if she were one of their own. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. They are always up to date on everything and can offer me many options. I never feel pressured or that they are just trying to get money out of me. I know that they truly care about my pet! I wouldn't take her any where else! I have been to other vets where you tell them something is wrong and they take your pet's temperature and immediately prescribe them a pill. This is not one of those places! They always give my cat FULL exam. And their prices are reasonable too. I can't say enough good things about this place!
