As a retired K-9 Officer I had to make sure that my partner, Officer Rex, was well taken care of and I needed that special Vet that I could trust with his well being. Dr. Romero was not only kind , sympathetic and knew about the breed of a Belgian Malinois, but he didn't take risks with Rex's health. Dr. Romero' skill and professional standard to test systematic through medical problems instead of piling on the usual outstanding procedures that were costly and not needed. He was well versed in the medical field and explained each step as he proceeded to diagnose Rex's problems. When it was time to relieve Rex of his pain and misery, Dr Romero was gentle and kind to Rex. He passed at 14 years of hard labor fron his police career.

I also have a Rescued Greyhound which he takes care of with the same passion as he did with Rex.

I highly recommend Dr. Romero to anyone because he has a good heart and passion to help the animals he treats.

Stay away from this guy. You have to twist his arm to run test, and then he is going to give you all the reasons why the test is not going show anything. My 7yr old died under his care of pancreatitis, and Not one time did he run any test. Three times he saw the patient for the same problem. Dr ROMERO you are FIRED. I will NOT recommend this quack vet to anyone.

I took my girl to Dr.Romero and he gave me the best 9yrs of my life with her.When she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma,last year, he spent his time on the computer in his off hours finding affordable pharmacy for me to use for her chemo drugs.He was always available for me with my concerns.Everyone was very supportive and compassionate.When my Sadie lost her fight..Dr.Romero and Lisa were there for me when I had to make the worst decision of my life.I thank them very much for there compassion and love they showed my girl.The whole staff treated us like family..and I will always be grateful and hope I can find another vet as caring here in Knoxville.You can't find a better place to take your best friends.

I love Dr Romero and his staff. Have been taking my animals to him for a few years and the quality of care, compassion, and demeanor is unsurpassed. I can't say enough to express my gratitude for taking such good care of our furry family members.

Dr Romero is one of the nicest and trustworthy person I know. I was recomended to Palm Aire Animal clinic some 6 years ago and had nothing but praise for his fine, caring work on my two cats. He will take you to the exame room with your pet and go over any questions or concerns with detailed answers. He has kept are pets healthy for years. I have recomended him to several people I know and all they say is "Thank You"! You will not be dissapointed. And his cost are very reasonable.

Watch out for this guy. Dr Romero is not thorough. He told me my animal was fine with a 104 fever. Very uncaring and again...not thorough!!!!
