“Fritto Misto was founded on the principles that everyone needs recognition, that everyone deserves to be valued as an individual and made to feel welcome, that everyone appreciates high quality at reasonable prices, and that no one wants to leave a restaurant feeling hungry after eating “nouveau” portions.”

For the longest time the only thing I knew about Fritto Misto was the huge crowd of people waiting outside every night for a table.

We finally tried it for lunch on a weekend and we were one of only a handful of people there. I finally understand now why there's a huge line out the door! The fresh, not dried, pasta is absolutely a revelation from a restaurant. The pesto sauce was full of flavor and, despite the fact that I was planning on only eating half and saving the rest, I ended up porking the entire thing down in one sitting.

Obviously, in the middle of the day, there's not much atmosphere, but I can guarantee you'll get a good pasta meal here, so if you want to brave the crowds, head here on an evening, or if you want the place to yourself, try it for lunch on a weekend

Healthy Italian!

What I love about Frito Misto is that you can eat healthy Italian! Traditional dishes can be ordered with vegetables instead of pasta. The great flavors without the carbs. Got to love that!

I absolutely love Fritto Misto!

It offers a great location, good parking (there's a lot in back with limited parking space) and great food. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a non chain, nicely priced Italian restaurant.

They were right...

Every now and then you hear about a place that is real good - and it is! The food was very delicious - I had a very good salad (the kind you devour) and soup (split pea). Their pasta list is also quite impressive. The menu was very fairly priced, and the setting nice and informal. Basically you will lick your plates clean and the bill won't upset you later that day. Parking is easy and they have spaces behind the restaurant.
