This is smallish kind of natural foods/organic grocery store that is hiddeb from the main streets of Santa Monica. It carries a variety of products to fit alternative lifestyles (vegan, raw etcc.). Although you can be a member of the coop and get some benefits, it is not required qhen shopping there. I find the produce a bit more expensive (3.99 for a small basket of strawberries) but they carry promos during the month for all other items. I love finding new foods there like the coconut juice which tradtional groceries don't carry. I feel good that I buy healthier stuff and the co=op makes it accessible to me.

This is a small place compared to Whole Foods but they are well-stocked with nutritious, organic items. You dont have to be a member of the coop but if you sop oftten there, might as well. They also prepare fresh foods deli.
