I made the mistake of using this company to fix my dryer in February. In order to get behind the dryer to make repairs he also had to pull out the washer. Unknown to me, in doing this, he pulled out the hose to my washer which resulted in flooding and damage to my apartment building. Tuffys is now claiming that they did not do this and is not their responsibility because they came to fix my dryer not my washer, not caring that the negligence of their service guy resulted in hundreds of dollars of damage. She also mentioned how my lease says that I am responsible for services I hire for repair. While that is true, I just can't believe any reputable company would hide behind something like that and be so unwilling to work with a customer when what they did resulted in damage. I wish I got the name of the woman who I spoke with but she was the rudest woman I have dealt with at a local business! She wouldn't even give me the full name of the owner so I could call back and talk to her. I got attitude because of something that has been going on for almost 2 months without resolution. At one point Tuffys agreed to pay half and then stopped responding. They are now claiming that they never said that. I am appalled at the behavior of a business who relies on locals to keep them running. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau so everyone is aware of how these people do business. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for repairs unless you want to chance further damage in your house!!!

I bought a dryer from this place 5 months ago . It has been nothing but problematic . Had to have them come out twice to fix the belt and adjust the motor. One of the guys told me it didnt look like the dryer had even been serviced before it went on the sales floor . Anyway the dryer went out recently . I ended up buying another one from someone else . I tried to call and explain the dryer has issues . The woman i talked to was very rude and told me all the appliances have new parts . Told me they wont buy it back . I called back and explained to another lady the problem and she put me on hold and seemed to have hung up the phone . Called back no answer. Not to mention they have ignored previous calls from me until i use *67. Bottom line ..bad business, rude and treated me like a joke . Will never recommend Tuffys to anyone EVER again !

We have used Tuffy's for appliances and repairs for years. Tuffy has always been honest and gives more than our moneys worth. One year he even fixed a string of Christmas lights since my husband was ill. Tuffy is a genuinely nice guy who loves what he does. Thanks Tuffy for all you do.
